Cant really fault it  |
We bought this scanner as my wife ,who is not generally a computer user, had about 700 old photos, to scan, copy to CD and distribute to various members of the family.Our previous Ulead scanner was o.k, but a bit slow and the results were not quite true to the original. This scanner does everything we want it to, very well.
It is USB2 so is much quicker, the bundled software is very easy to use and it comes with a pretty reasonable photo editing program (Arcsoft Photoimpression 4). There is also software to create cards, calenders, digitise business cards and all sorts of other stuff (which I havent yet used) A neat trick is the supplied transparency/film holder, which stores very neatly under the lid, and allows one to meke very high quality scans from slides. I cant really fault it, it seems to produce totally acurate, high res scans every time, and my wife has had no problems getting to grips with it.....Recommended

The scanner is worth the price, becouse it has got very good finishing touches that makes it wonderful.
